Darius Rucker Is Good for a Good Time With 2016 Tour Dates
Darius Rucker has announced the cities and dates for his 2016 Good for a Good Time Tour.
The three-time Grammy winner has announced more than 30 cities for the trek, which is set to kick off in Tampa, Fla., on June 3 and run through the early part of September before wrapping up in Georgia. Dan + Shay and Michael Ray will join Rucker as his support acts.
Dan + Shay recently scored their first No. 1 single, "Nothin' Like You," while Ray was the only solo male country music newcomer to hit No. 1 in 2015, reaching the top spot with "Kiss You in the Morning." Rucker is a perennial favorite on the concert circuit, and his 2015 Southern Style Tour drew more than 400,000 fans to shows across America, so expectations for the Good for a Good Time Tour are high.
Rucker has once again partnered with Project Rebuild for the upcoming dates. The campaign arose from a partnership between Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Military Warriors Support Foundation to assist in rebuilding the lives of our wounded veterans by helping place them in mortgage-free homes to help ease the transition back to civilian life. Along with Lieutenant General Sisco, CEO and founder of Military Warriors Support Foundation, Rucker presented the first house in an appearance on NBC’s Today Show, and went on to help place veterans in 13 more homes in 2015.
The Good for a Good Time Tour will also partner with Uber for select dates, giving fans the chance to win free rides and VIP packages that can include two tickets to a show, an exclusive Darius Rucker pre-show acoustic performance and an invitation to a pre-show party in the VIP Party Lounge. Fans can use the promo code GOODTIME to enter to win, and first time users will also receive $20 off their first ride.
Tickets for Darius Rucker's 2016 Good for a Good Time Tour go on sale Jan. 29 for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket.
