Luke Combs may have a fan in one of the biggest music stars in the world, Ed Sheeran.

Ray Fulcher — a songwriter in Nashville who co-penned several tracks with Combs on his debut album, This One's for You — shared the good news on Instagram with a video ripped from Sheeran's Instagram story in which he and a friend are singing Combs' huge hit, "When It Rains It Pours."

"Deep sea, senorita, fishing down in Panama" the pop star and his pal sing into the camera during what appears to be a beach vacation of their own, with palm trees and what looks like a beach hut serving as the backdrop.

"Wut. Apparently Ed Sheeran digs our song boys," Fulcher writes in the caption, tagging Combs and "When It Rains It Pours" co-writer Jordan Walker (of duo Walker McGuire). Sheeran is a close personal friend of ex-country star Taylor Swift.

Best Country Songs of 2018 (So Far):

"When It Rains It Pours" put Combs, a relative newcomer, on the map. The song claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts in 2017, in addition to being gold-certified. "The idea kind of fell out, but the whole time we were writing the first verse, he was texting his ex-girlfriend and I just kept going, 'Dude should we just not write and just got back to the bar?' Like I know how this goes, and he's like, 'No, we're going to write a song.' And then it hit me — I was like, ‘We should write a song about her,'" Walker describes of how the concept for the song came about. Yeah, it's a true story.

The burgeoning country star will spend the summer with Jason Aldean and Lauren Alaina on Aldean's 2018 High Noon Neon Tour, launching May 10 and continuing through the end of September.
