Emily Ann Roberts put it all on the line with her performance of Patty Loveless’ “Blame It on Your Heart” during the live Top 12 performances on The Voice on Nov. 16. The country-bluegrass hopeful brought her A-game with the sassy tune, getting some help from coach Blake Shelton along the way.

Roberts gave the confidence and power of an experienced country star during her performance, infusing a heightened level of attitude and honesty to her near flawless vocals. The 17-year-old's unique tone shone through on the song, allowing her to show fans and coaches just how much she’s grown on the show and the true extent of her star quality.

Shelton gave the performance a standing ovation, and the other celebrity coaches were equally impressed.

“Wow — oh my gosh, you are so good,” Gwen Stefani commented. “You feel like you’ve graduated from The Voice and you’re in the country world now and you’re a star."

Adam Levine agreed. “I thought to myself, ‘This person has kind of grown up before our eyes, and she’s ready to go, ready to do this.’"

Shelton had kind words to say about his team member as well, noting her confidence and professional quality.

“You’re treating it like this is your stage,” he said. “And it is, every time you stand on it."

Fans can vote for Roberts until noon Tuesday (Nov. 17), and the results show will air Tuesday evening. One contestant is slated to go home during this round. Check out her full performance of “Blame It on Your Heart” above.
