It was no surprise to anyone that newcomer duo Florida Georgia Line picked up the hardware for the Breakthrough Music Video of the Year at the 2013 CMT Music Awards.

Fellow stars Kellie Pickler, dazzling in a sparkling gown, and Scotty McCreery, looking especially dashing in a dark suit, presented the first award of the evening. Other Breakthrough Music Video of the Year nominees included Dustin Lynch, Jana Kramer, Kacey Musgraves, Kip Moore and Randy Houser.

FGL bounded onstage, completely spiffed up for the evening, grinning from ear to ear. Brian Kelley grabbed the mic first, exclaiming, "My heart's beating out of my chest... we have the most amazing fans in the world." He also mentioned that they wanted to "thank the Lord for blessing us so much."

The other half of the hit duo, Tyler Hubbard, also gave a shoutout to the fans, saying, "Our amazing fans -- we can't thank you guys enough -- you guys have changed our lives." Their fans have certainly helped them get to an astounding place in their career, with 'Cruise' recently setting a new chart record.

This year is a breakthrough for FGL, and this award is a testament to the utter devotion of their fans.
