On Sunday night (Aug. 11), Florida Georgia Line performed their smash hit 'Cruise' at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. As an added bonus, the duo brought out rapper Nelly to sing the remixed version of the song.

From the moment FGL was introduced to perform, they transformed the stage into a fun summer scene.

As Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard stepped on stage, they were joined by their band and a host of bikini-clad girls who were ready to dance. While FGL sang their award-winning single, a campfire burned in the background and the presence of beach balls, beach towels and scenes of the ocean reminded viewers why 'Cruise' is one of the most popular songs of the summer.

FGL worked the crowd by jumping off stage and shaking hands with fans, who were dancing their hearts out in the first few rows. Near the end of the song, rapper Nelly appeared onstage to perform his signature rap solo. FGL stood on either side of him, joining in for certain parts of the song.

As the band played the final chords of 'Cruise,' the country duo and Nelly took a few moments on stage to wave to fans and catch their breath. Although the band didn't take home any awards at the teen-voted awards show, some of their fellow country artists had better luck. Taylor Swift and Hunter Hayes took home the awards for Choice Female Country Artist and Choice Male Country Artist, respectively. Meanwhile, Lady Antebellum scored the trophy for Choice Country Group. Swift also won the award for Choice Country Song.
