Florida Georgia Line Snag Vocal Duo of The Year at the 2013 CMA Awards
Three new artist nominees gathered on stage to hand out the award for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2013 CMAs. Lee Brice, Kip Moore and Brett Eldredge stood side by side to announce the winner.
Eldredge wore his best blue suit, while the other presenters donned all black. The 'Don't Ya' hitmaker joked that this award was one that was difficult to win. "First of all, you got to be a duo," he said.
The nominees included Big and Rich, Florida Georgia Line, Love and Theft, Sugarland, Civil Wars and Thompson Square. Just before they announced the winner, Brice must have gotten a little too excited, because he accidentally ripped the winner card and let a curse word slide. He quickly recovered, and together they announced Florida Georgia Line as the winners for the second time at the 2013 CMAs.
When the duo took the stage, Tyler Hubbard grabbed the award and said, "I would love to hold this." FGL was once again very grateful and thanked a few people they forgot during their Single of the Year win, including Taylor Swift, Jake Owen and Luke Bryan.
They once again thanked their fans before walking off the stage with their second CMA Award.
