Gwen Stefani's aunt might love Blake Shelton more than she does.

At a party for Aunt Donna DiPaola's 90th birthday, the birthday girl had some wise advise for Stefani, telling her on video: "Don't get rid of that wonderful boyfriend of yours."

Stefani's response? "I'll try not to."

Shelton and Stefani have been getting along well with each other's families. The couple even dressed up as characters from the animated cartoon Scooby-Doo for Stefani's son, Apollo, at his birthday party last month. Shelton put on an impressively messy wig for his portrayal of Shaggy, while his girlfriend sported a bright pink-orange hair to play Daphne Blake.

These Hit Songs Weren't Hits at All, Actually

The country star has attended many family functions and seems to be getting close to Stefani's three sons. They're often out roaming the land at the "I Lived It" singer's Oklahoma ranch, and he even taught her oldest son, 11-year-old Kingston, how to go mudding. As Stefani tells Marie Claire, Shelton's ranch is a great spot for her sons to just be boys.

"We cook and get muddy and dirty. There are ATVs. Being a mother of three boys, it’s kind of the perfect place," she says.

When Shelton's not entertaining Stefani and her family, he's bringing his infectious personality to television as a coach on the new season of The Voice. The singer already has two Tennessee hopefuls on his team and his competition with Kelly Clarkson is starting to rival his bro-mance with Adam Levine.
