Gwen Stefani Posts Funny (Fake) Throwback Shot of Her and Blake Shelton as Teens

Ah, the things we can do with Photoshop these days. In the case of Gwen Stefani, the pop superstar decided to have a little "Throwback Thursday" fun March 21, posting a clearly doctored but adorable photo to her Instagram celebrating her relationship with Blake Shelton.

In the photo, a teenaged (or very young, anyway) Stefani poses with a teenaged (or very young) Shelton. Given that around this time period Stefani was hanging out in Southern California and Shelton was in Oklahoma — with neither one having any interest in each other's scenes whatsoever — the photo is obviously a fake.

However, someone clever with photo editing managed to make it look like the two young'uns were way into each other, with Shelton's arm draped around Stefani's too-cool-for-school shrug.

It's not real, but it's cute. The couple's relationship is, however, apparently both real and cute, having been going strong for some years now. They're pretty good at keeping things smoking hot even amidst busy careers, with 2019 being no exception, as Shelton is currently out on the road for his 2019 tour. Stefani recently wrapped a series of dates at her ongoing residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, but will be returning for more in July.
