Kacey Musgraves hit the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet on Thursday night (March 14) at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles ahead of a performance at the show.

Musgraves strutted down the walkway in a dark green cocktail dress by David Koma with a pair of heels and slicked back, straight hair. The Grammy Album of the Year winner was nominated for Best Cover Song with her friend Harry Styles for their collaboration of Shania Twain's hit "You're Still the One." The category winner is voted on by fans via social media.

Not long into the show, Musgraves — in a full-length yellow gown — performed her current country single "Rainbow" with special guest Chris Martin of Coldplay. "For a long time, that was a really hard one to hear, but I thought that it fit really nicely on the record," she previously told Taste of Country of the song. "It turned into a song as a little message to myself, and then ended up being a song for anybody with any kind of weight on their shoulders."

Musgraves appeared onstage on a light-up neon rainbow, where she sat perched while singing the song with piano accompaniment from Martin. The crowd had light-up bracelets that flashed different colors of the rainbow as she sang. Surprisingly, Martin did not offer his vocal accompaniment.

The country star is currently in the middle of her Oh, What a World Tour, performing across North America. Musgraves will also be performing at Coachella later this spring along with kicking off her Oh What a World Tour Part II later this summer.
