The Marshall Tucker Band released their hit record 'A New Life,' over forty years ago, and now they're actually helping internet sensation Kayla Slone find a new (and very exciting!) life. Slone, an aspiring country singer, was invited onstage by MTB at the Grand Ole Opry, where she helped sing one of their classic hits.

The 21-year-old had already been personally invited by the Opry to perform onstage the same evening as the southern rockers, and founding member/lead singer Doug Gray explains that he wanted to elongate her time on the legendary stage.

"I had seen this girl on the news and when I found out she would be performing on the Opry with us, I knew we had to invite her back out after her set to help us sing 'Can't You See,'" he reveals in a press release.

He adds, "We had so much fun singing with Kayla. She was a real pro and I know she will go far in this business. I had chills up and down my spine after hearing her sing!"

Slone, of course, had the time of her life. "It was a real honor to sing on the Grand Ole Opry stage and be a part of a great tradition," she raves. "It was also a special treat to sing with the Marshall Tucker Band and it goes to show you that dreams really do come true!"

With the help of the world wide web and other country icons, such as Dierks Bentley, who invited Slone to the ACM Awards, the dreams of a small-town West Virginia girl are becoming a reality.
