Luke Combs Reveals His Secret to Juggling Stardom + Fatherhood
In speaking with the two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year on Taste of Country Nights On Demand, I was curious how he manages his time on the road and at home as a father.
The "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma" singer broke it down for us all.
"I'm lucky to get to spend three or four days a week at home with the kids when I'm not on the road," Combs states.
He continues, "Ya know, we play two nights a week, and so the rest of the days I'm home with them. I'll play some shows, and come home and ya know, make breakfast and lunches and naps and diapers and it's, yeah man, it's cool."
Since Father's Day is coming up, I then asked what was the last thing that made Combs tear up as a dad?
"Gosh, I don't know, man, there's a lot for sure, ya know? Sometimes it's, ya know, I think writing some of these songs you kind of have some of those moments, too, where it just kinda all hits ya at once, so there's been a few of those for sure."
Combs has a whole album of dad songs coming out on June 14 titled Fathers & Sons.
