Country and soul never sounded so good together as when Luke Combs paired up with Leon Bridges for a recent episode of CMT Crossroads.

The pair teamed for an inspired version of Combs' "Beautiful Crazy," which can be watched above.The full Crossroads episode aired June 28, and the two taped the show back in early June, just before the 2018 CMT Music Awards.

Bridges' classic and soulful sound has earned him two albums that cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, including his critically acclaimed debut album Coming Home, which was also nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. His hit song "River," which was featured in Big Little Lies, also received a Grammy nod for Best Music Video in 2017.

As for Combs, he recently announced his 2019 headlining Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour in January, with Lanco and Jameson Rodgers opening. The tour, which kicks off in January, The tour is named after a song called "Beer Never Broke My Heart" that Combs plays live, but has not yet included on an album.
