Miranda Lambert is the cheese to Blake Shelton's macaroni, and together, they're two peas in a pod -- we couldn't imagine a world where they aren't together. But how did their flame ignite in the first place? On an all-new episode of VH1's 'Behind the Music,' Lambert admits that she fell in love with Shelton at first sight. Unfortunately, he was already married.

"We had instant chemistry," Miranda Lambert says, opening up in the hour-long backstage special, which airs on July 13. The 'White Liar' hitmaker and 'Honey Bee' heartthrob met over a duet, at CMT's 100 Greatest Duets Concert way back in 2006.

Even Shelton says that he couldn't resist his now wife from the get-go. "I've never had that kind of experience with anybody," he reveals in the VH1 special. "I was a married guy, you know, standing up there going, 'Man, this shouldn't be happening.'" He adds, "Looking back on that, I was falling in love with her right there onstage."

Because 'The Voice' judge already had a ring on his finger, the pair just formed a friendship, and Lambert knew he wasn't something she could pursue. Of course, we know that this story has a happy ending, but to find out how it all unfolded, tune into VH1 for the Miranda Lambert 'Behind the Music' episode, which boasts interviews from stars Loretta Lynn, Sheryl Crow, Kenny Chesney, and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, as well as Lambert's family members and friends. The hour-long program airs on July 13 at 10PM ET.
