Miranda Lambert Doesn’t Want to Be a ‘Burden’ on Wedding Anniversary

May 14 is Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s third wedding anniversary, but the ‘Automatic’ singer isn’t expecting a gift. She knows he’s busy with ‘The Voice’ and doesn’t want to be a “burden.”

“I mean, if we can spend time together, that's enough gift for us because I don't want to be just like another burden,” she tells WTVF-TV, “or, like, thing on his plate to have to say, 'Oh, by the way, you have to get me a present; it’s our anniversary.’” The traditional gift for a third anniversary is leather.

"I don’t think we'll do anything big, just spend time together," she adds.

Lambert says she did get her hubby a wallet from the Kentucky Derby, but she’s not expecting anything in return. It’s not clear if she appreciated his Twitter surprise for her this morning:
