Miranda Lambert is busier than ever these days. She's on a new record label, Republic Records, and has a new album, Postcards From Texas, coming out on Sept. 13.

She's got a few live shows left on the books for 2024, but with a new project, we're anticipating a new tour to follow. So, when Lambert stopped by Taste of Country Nights this week to dish on her new album, we had to ask her this pressing question:

"What's on your tour rider?"

What's on Miranda Lambert's Tour Rider?

With a smile, she said back, "It's so lame."

"It's like, cheese and crackers ... Lay's potato chips, because the grease is good for your voice. Whatever, we just want chips," the "Wranglers" singer jokes.

"Water and Tito's, and that's it," Lambert adds.

Grease is good for your voice — who knew?

"That's what they say," the country star explains. "Aretha [Franklin] ate Lay's potato chips in the studio, so like, let's do whatever she did."

True to her brand, Lambert is a little gritty, and she likes things a certain way — like to keep it "old school" country.

"You're usually drinking if you're about to sing country music, 'cause that's how we do it, it's old school," the Grammy winner says. "Then you need some salty, so it all goes together."

If you're keeping track at home, Lambert's tour rider is as follows:

  • Cheese and crackers
  • Lay's potato chips
  • Water
  • Tito's vodka

She may be a mega hitmaker, but this Texan is no frills.

Look for Postcards From Texas — an album Lambert produced with her buddy Jon Randall in Texas, of course — to be released next week. The project includes her husband Brendan's first-ever co-write on a song called "Dammit Randy."
