Miranda Lambert's concerts are always a night to remember, but she gave the audience a special treat at a recent performance with a powerful U2 cover.

During her headlining set at Faster Horses Festival in Michigan on Saturday (July 22), Lambert decided to close out her performance with an amazing cover of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." The country star kept it simple, with a guitar softly strumming in the background while she sang a poignant rendition of the classic song. Her delivery is packed with emotion, switching up the sound to make it her own. The superstar even allows her band to shine in the spotlight, with multiple backup singers getting a chance to sing solo.

Miranda Lambert + More Singers Keeping Traditional Country Music Alive

She steps to the side at one point during the song to let her friend Blu Sanders take over on one of the verses, rocking out as he nails the performance. The energy picks up toward the end of the song when Lambert turns the mic over the crowd, who happily oblige, singing the signature line right back to the star to end the U2 classic. "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" reached No. 1 when U2 released it as a single from The Joshua Tree in 1987.

The country superstar has brought out all sorts of surprises on stage recently. She surprised the crowd in Buffalo, N.Y., when she joined Chris Stapleton for a duet on his, song “Fire Away.” She made another appearance on stage that same night to lead a "Happy Birthday" singalong to her boyfriend  Anderson East, and her first time seeing Jimmy Buffet in concert was that much more exciting when she got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing his classic hit, “Margaritaville," with the legend.
