Point of Grace have just released a new album, and they're sharing an exclusive glimpse of one of the tracks with Taste of Country readers.

The beloved contemporary Christian trio released Directions Home (Songs We Love, Songs You Know) on Tuesday (April 7). The project features the trio of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Leigh Cappillino performing some of their favorite popular songs.

The group co-produced the project with Andy Leftwich, who is Ricky Skaggs' fiddle player and a member of the Grammy Award-winning Kentucky Thunder. The album includes covers of Carrie Underwood's "Something in the Water," Phillip Phillips' "Home" and Trace Adkins' "You're Gonna Miss This," among others. Skaggs and Vince Gill also make guest appearances on the record.

"Directions Home has so many layers of meaning for us," Breen says in a press release. "It represents our past, where we are now, and most importantly, where we are ultimately going — home. Our hope for this project is that people will find encouragement in the lyrics, that they will feel emotions that will bring them great memories and a touch of nostalgia, but the higher purpose of everything on this record is to point listeners to the cross of Christ, which is the only way to truly find our way home."

The Dove Award-winning group performed "Home" live in an informal setting backstage at the Grand Ole Opry recently, showcasing the easy vocal chemistry that has made them one of the biggest acts in contemporary Christian music over the past several decades. Take a look at that performance in the clip above.

Directions Home (Songs We Love, Songs You Know) is now available at iTunes. Keep up with Point of Grace via their website, or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
