Mere hours after the death of Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman was announced to the world, Rascal Flatts’ front man Gary LeVox headed to Instagram to mourn his friend’s passing.

“What a sad day for us all,” LeVox wrote alongside a video of his daughter Brittany and Beth singing together backstage at a Rascal Flatts concert. “We will miss u Bethy!!”

LeVox also took the time to express his condolences to Chapman’s husband Duane Chapman, better known as the actual "Dog the Bounty Hunter."

“Dog, I love ya my friend and we are totally surrounding u and the entire Chapman fam in love and prayer,” he wrote. “God is always close to the broken hearted! RIP my friend!!!”

“I will always be grateful for our connection,” she wrote on Wednesday afternoon (June 26.)

Other celebrities marking the sad day included magician Criss Angel.

“My deepest condolences to Dog the Bounty Hunter and family for the loss of Beth. may she Rest In Peace. So very sorry for your loss - way too soon. God bless you all. Criss."
