Sara Evans is proving that she is "stronger" than ever with her career as a country music singer, as she once again holds down the No. 1 slot on the country singles chart this week with 'A Little Bit Stronger.' The tune, which can be found on Evans' 'Stronger' album that was released in March, was written by tunesmiths Hillary Lindsey, Luke Laird and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott.

"[We all felt] it was a cool song for Sara to sing because of where she was at in her career," Laird recently told Taste of Country. "It’s so gratifying to see her come back and have that song and see how well it’s done for her."

"I am so humbled and overwhelmed that 'A Little Bit Stronger' made it to No. 1," Evans says. "This song has had the biggest emotional response of any other single I've ever released. I think it is because almost everyone has gone through a difficult time in their life and most people can relate to the line in the song 'even on my weakest days, I get a little bit stronger.'"

Remaining at No. 2 this week on the charts is Miranda Lambert's ‘Heart Like Mine,’ followed by Brad Paisley's 'Old Alabama,' which has moved up to the No. 3 position.
