Even when you're as successful as Taylor Swift, a little encouragement goes a long way. The 21-year-old recently shared that still relies on little pep-talks to get her through some tough times on the road. One of her heroes has been more than a supportive friend.

In an interview with NashvilleLifestyles.com, Swift says Faith Hill is always in her corner. "She’s been my idol since I saw her on both VH1 and CMT when I was about 10," she shares. "Since I put out my first album, Faith has been a welcoming and warm presence in my life, time after time. She sends flowers on my birthday and sent me cookies when I got sick."

Hill -- and by extension husband Tim McGraw -- isn't the only one willing to drop her a line. "Another one of my favorite people is Kenny Chesney," Swift says. "He’s so supportive, and always makes sure I know he’s in my corner. He sends little notes of encouragement, and I know I can ask him for advice any time. These are two people who had always been my heroes for their career accomplishments, and when I met them, they became my heroes for their characters."

Of course Swift's parents are still her biggest supporters, but she clearly appreciates having the wisdom of two people who've been singing almost as long as she's been alive. This weekend Swift is touring through Canada; maybe she can call up Hill and ask where the best restaurants are in Vancouver?
