Thomas Rhett and his Home Team tourmates Kelsea Ballerini, Ryan Hurd and Russell Dickerson made a pit stop between their three shows this past weekend to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Rhett and company spent the afternoon at the hospital on Friday (March 24), decorating hats, coloring and spending time with young patients.

Of course, they aren't nearly the only artists who makes it a point to visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Earlier this year, country acts like Maddie & Tae, Cole Swindell, Darius Rucker and Chase Bryant, among others, visited the center to lend their time. Rucker shared that he is moved by the hospital and its volunteers, explaining that he was first introduced to St. Jude in 2010 while on tour with Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley.

“I was just so moved by everybody,” Rucker says about his first visit to St. Jude. “I was moved by the doctors and the administrators and the kids of course who were all running around, trying to get better, but trying to be as happy as they can be.”

Meanwhile, Maddie & Tae admit that they were overwhelmed by joy during their first time to visit.

“The second we walked in here today I was overwhelmed with how joyful this building is,” Maddie recalled during a media session at St. Jude in January. “Every person in this organization works so hard to make sure that it feels homey, and it feels normal.”

Rhett's Home Team Tour will continue through the spring and summer. Thomas Rhett tickets are some of the hottest of 2017.
