Some of the coolest pictures at the 2018 CMA Awards were shot backstage, with stars hanging out and hitting the press room to talk about their big wins.

Chris Stapleton was the biggest winner at the 2018 CMA Awards, which took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday night ( Nov. 14). He took home Song, Single and Male Vocalist of the Year, and he was on hand backstage afterward to talk to reporters about his win.

Kacey Musgraves was also among the stars backstage at the CMAs, talking about her somewhat surprising win for Album of the Year for Golden Hour. Ricky Skaggs hit the backstage area to pose for photos and chat with the press after roaring through an all-star country and bluegrass jam that was one of the highlights of the CMA broadcast, and his onstage guests, Brothers Osborne and Keith Urban, were also making the backstage rounds. Brothers Osborne won Vocal Duo of the Year for the third time on Wednesday night, while Urban took home the night's biggest honor, Entertainer of the Year.
