Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini + Luke Combs Among 2019 Grammy Presenters
Country's own will be presenting and representing at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 10). Presenters for this year's show include Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs and Kane Brown. Ballerini and Combs are also both nominated this year.
Other presenters that were announced on Thursday (Feb. 7) include Leon Bridges, Charlie Wilson, Alessia Cara, Julian Edelman, Eve, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Smokey Robinson, Swizz Beatz, Meghan Trainor, BTS, Cedric the Entertainer. Actors Nina Dobrev, Anna Kendrick, Jada Pinkett Smith and Wilmer Valderrama are also presenting at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Ballerini is nominated for Best Country Album in the 2019 Gramm Awards for her sophomore album, Unapologetically. In December, she shared a video of her mother's priceless reaction to finding out the news of her nomination on her social media. Ballerini has been previously nominated in 2016 for Best New Artist.
For Combs, this marks his first nomination at the Grammys for Best New Artist. He shares the nomination with fellow country singer Margo Price. 2019 also marks Combs' first time attending the awards show.
As previously announced, the performers for the 2019 Grammy Awards include Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton. All of those country stars are nominated this year. Parton will also be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year, with several artists performing tributes for her on Music's Biggest Night.
The 61st annual Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at 8PM ET / 5PM PT, hosted by Alicia Keys.
