Round 2 of March Bandess Features Legends vs. Current Hitmakers in Battle to Decide Country’s Best Band
Eight country bands remain in the month-long tournament to find country music's best band of all time. March Bandness began with 16 country groups, and after Round 1, only the biggest names of the past 30 years remain. It's a mix of legendary hitmakers and current superstars that are relying on fans to push them into the final four.
The biggest upset of Round 1 may have been Diamond Rio's takedown of Rascal Flatts. Fans of the 'Meet in the Middle' singers weren't surprised however, as the '90s hitmakers clearly belong in any conversation about country music's best bands. Sugarland, Lonestar, Alabama and Zac Brown Band also moved on -- some with ease.
It was a narrow victory for the Band Perry, but big wins for the Charlie Daniels Band and Lady Antebellum. Click the button below to vote for all four remaining matchups. You can vote up to once every hour until Round 2 polls close at 11:59PM ET on March 24. The winner will be revealed on April 8.
