Carrie Underwood is teasing fans with another track from her upcoming album. The superstar has revealed a new song titled "End Up With You."

The song begins with an oddly angular guitar riff, and Underwood delivers her vocal in a different style than we're accustomed to hearing from her, singing in a looser, not-quite-reggae cadence that's very appealing. Underwood is taking a break from exploiting the power of her upper range here, and the result is a fun, feel-good pop song that reveals a more casual, sexy side. The lyrics are all about just being with a lover and going along for the ride, wherever it leads.

"And we could end up broke down on some back road / Lovin' in the back seat to the radio / Wouldn't be the worst scenario / 'Cause all I wanna do is end up with you / Get home and we're locked out / Middle of the backyard laying down / Last thing that I'd worry 'bout / 'Cause all I wanna do is end up with you / Yeah, all I wanna do is end up with you," she sings in the chorus.

This is the latest release from Underwood's upcoming Cry Pretty album, set for release Sept. 14. The song follows last month's "Love Wins," a song celebrating compassion and respecting the differences among people. The album's title track and lead single, "Cry Pretty," recently reached the Top 10 on both Billboard's Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs chart.

Underwood is particularly involved with her latest release, having co-written nine of the 13 tracks. As she told Taste of Country, "I’m more in this album than I’ve ever been before."

The singer also co-produced the new album alongside David Garcia and Jim Jonsin.

What to Expect Now That Carrie Underwood Is Expecting

Carrie Underwood, "End Up With You" Lyrics:

I don't really care 'bout making any plans / Leave it up in the air, give it up to chance / Seein' where it goes, seein' where it lands / I just wanna go as fast as we can

Chorus:

And we could end up broke down on some back road / Lovin' in the back seat to the radio / Wouldn't be the worst scenario / 'Cause all I wanna do is end up with you / Get home and we're locked out / Middle of the backyard laying down / Last thing that I'd worry 'bout / 'Cause all I wanna do is end up with you / Yeah, all I wanna do is end up with you

To the end of the world if you wanted to / Yeah, 'cause you could light up the dark side of the moon / Don't leave it up to me, I'll leave it up to you / 'Cause I just want one thing when the night is through, yeah

Repeat Chorus
