Carrie Underwood Stuns on 2017 CMAs Red Carpet With Husband Mike Fisher
Carrie Underwood has had the honor of co-hosting the CMA Awards for 10 years in a row, and she's done a fine job, with nothing missing.
Well — actually one thing has been missing. Namely, her date for the show! Her hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher's busy schedule with the Nashville Predators has kept him from attending most awards shows. However, this year is his first in retirement, so he was finally free and clear to escort his wife on the 2017 CMAs red carpet Wednesday evening (Nov. 8).
Underwood looked glowing, and not just because she was happy to have her other half along. The superstar chose a striking royal-blue gown with a plunging off-the-shoulder neckline, which fit her closely all the way down to an elegant swirl of pleats at the bottom.
Fisher, meanwhile, let his wife's ensemble steal the spotlight, opting for a classic, no-frills black suit. In addition to her hosting duties, Underwood is nominated for the prestigious Female Vocalist of the Year Award.
The 51st annual CMA Awards are airing live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 8.
