Carrie Underwood is back for year for another year of Sunday Night Football!
The country singer busts out the electric guitar for this 2024 performance. The video opens with the "Hate My Heart" singer arriving at the stadium with her band to rev up the crowd before the game.
Underwood approaches the stage in a bedazzled jacket with her last name written across the back.
Carrie Underwood's 2024 Sunday Night Football Opener: The Details
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the "Denim & Rhinestones" singer recorded her parts for the opening theme in between her Reflection residency shows. The publication states that she once again filmed scenes at the home of her residency, Resorts World.
The idea was to make the theater feel like Allegiant Stadium in Sin CIty — home of the NFL team the Las Vegas Raiders. About 50 extras were reported to be in the theater in addition to the team's cheer squad, the Raiderettes.
Carrie Underwood's History With Sunday Night Football
News first broke of Underwood's return to Sunday Night Football in August. It's her twelfth year conducting the opening theme song for NBC's primetime coverage of the league.
Her first year was in 2013 after fellow country singer Faith Hill retired from the gig. Prior to that, pop artist Pink performed the song.
