The Holidays Have Carrie Underwood’s Son All Tuckered Out
Little kids are undeniably one of the best parts of the holiday season—there's nothing like watching the magic on a child's face as he or she takes in all the sounds, sights and lights of December. All that sensory input can downright tucker out even the most energetic tyke, however, as Carrie Underwood proved with an adorable social media post.
"Even Santa's helper gets a little tired getting ready for Christmas!" Underwood captioned a photo of her son, Isaiah, who will turn 3 in February. Although Isaiah is gamely decked out in a red Santa hat and green sweater, his holiday spirit seems to have reached its limit for the day, as he's conked out and fast asleep in what appears to be dad Mike Fisher's arms.
It's good that little Isaiah is getting plenty of rest, as has quite a bit of excitement ahead of him in the weeks to come. In addition to the whirlwind of Christmas, Underwood is expecting a baby brother, who's due to arrive in January. (Isaiah has some mixed feelings about that, but we're willing to bet he'll change his mind once he realizes how much fun it is to be the big bro.)
Underwood herself does not seem tuckered out at all, with a busy slate of plans already set for 2019. After recovering from her birth and taking some time with her new family of four, she'll be heading out on the road in May for the Cry Pretty Tour 360 tour.
