Dustin Lynch is just one day away from releasing his third album, Current Mood, but he shared one last preview before the record drops. A track called "Why We Call Each Other" amps up the singer's sex appeal with seductive beats, smooth vocals, and a steamy storyline.

Lynch co-wrote “Why We Call Each Other” with Lee Miller and Ross Copperman. The song tells the story of late-night phone calls with a secret lover. Just one of the many moods featured on Lynch's forthcoming project, "Why We Call Each Other" is sultry.

"That’s why we call each other / In the middle of the middle of the night / We’re so good under covers / That’s why we call each other,” he croons.

While Lynch has been mum on who exactly the songs on his new album are about, he does admit that he's happy to keep the listener guessing. He also reveals that a few songs are about “certain people and certain relationships.”

“No one is ever going to find out who it is,” Lynch tells Taste of Country. “I’m sure there are going to be speculations.”

Lynch has already garnered two No. 1 singles off the project ahead of its release. Lead single "Seein' Red" and follow-up "Small Town Boy" are both radio hits, likely to ease the singer's nerves during release week. Lynch previously made available another song, “Love Me or Leave Me Alone,” ahead of the album's release. The song is a duet with Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, and he says it's the most traditional track on the album.

Dustin Lynch's Current Mood is available on Sept. 8.
