Florida Georgia Line have been hard at work on new music, and fans have gotten a peak behind the curtain via their impactful collaboration with Bebe Rexha on "Meant to Be" and new tracks including "Colorado" and current single "Simple." Now the duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are eager to share their upcoming fourth studio album, which they've channeled their creativity into since the completion of 2016's Dig Your Roots.

"We got a song coming out with Jason Derulo in a couple months probably that we're pretty excited about. We think it's a good 'Meant to Be' follow up, real special song," Hubbard tells Taste of Country and other media at the 2018 Billboard Country Power Players event in Nashville.

"Our whole fourth album, I think it's going to be bigger and more special than any of our previous albums. We've really poured a lot of heart into it and been working and writing for about a year and a half on it. So we're very excited and can't wait for the fans to hear it."

10 Hottest Summer Songs This Year

"Meant to Be" has proven to be a career-changing hit for both FGL and Rexha, taking over both pop and country radio and racking up more than a billion streams. Rexha has earned the designation of being the first female artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, in addition to breaking Taylor Swift's record for spending the most weeks in the No. 1 spot on the chart for a lead female artist. "Meant to Be" also scored FGL their fourteenth No. 1 song and another Top 10 hit on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

Between their smash hits and ever-growing empire that includes restaurant and event venue FGL House, potential new waterfront establishment FGL Boat House and a newly announced five-night Las Vegas residency, the country stars are undeniable leaders in the genre. They were honored for their noteworthy success and business acumen with Billboard's first-ever Trailblazer Award, an accolade the duo note as "special" and an important milestone in their career.

"It's extremely humbling. I think this really makes us circle back to how we got started and the foundation that we've built, all the places we've been, the people that we've met, the songs we've put out," Kelley says about the honor. "It really puts everything into perspective and we're super thankful to present our art and our craft and our music in a fresh, unique way to our fans."

FGL also recently headlined at the  2018 Taste of Country Music Festival, where they performed the lead single from their upcoming album, "Simple." The duo hope to release their fourth studio album early in 2019. On July 6, they gave fans another sneak peek at the album by teasing another new song, a sexy, R&B-inspired ballad titled "Talk You Out of It."
