Hear Miranda Lambert’s New Collaboration with Green Day
Revered '90s punk trio Green Day recently teamed up with Miranda Lambert for a revised version of their track "Ordinary World," which was originally released on the band's 2016 album Revolution Radio and now is available on the group's Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band which was released Friday (Nov. 17).
Take a listen to their collaborative efforts on the song now!
Lambert and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong duet on vocals for the revised tune -- and, although some fans may be surprised at what seems like an unexpected country-punk combo, this isn't their first rodeo. The two vocalists have teamed up before, having paid tribute to the late Phil Everly with an acoustic performance of the Everly Brothers' 1960 hit "When Will I Be Loved." The pair delivered their sweet collaboration at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
Green Day's Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band collects the best-known hits of the group's career, from 1991's Kerplunk to last year's Revolution Radio. It also includes a brand-new song, "Back in the USA."
