Instead of eagerly anticipating who will be America's next idol, fans have been wondering who will be on the show's next judging panel on the thirteenth season of 'American Idol.'

Country music fans in particular have been hoping that Keith Urban will return. The show's host, Ryan Seacrest, answered the question -- but he didn't exactly provide the definite answer that the show's fans have been waiting for.

When asked about Urban's possible return to 'Idol,' Seacrest replied, "I was with Keith yesterday, we embraced, and said to each other ‘I hope we get to spend a lot of time together.’ He’s a great guy, and I’ve become a very good friend."

Added the host, "I think, based on what I have heard, the audience that watches 'American Idol' is going to be very excited about the panel that we’ve put together for this Season 13. It's a very special season. And I think you’ll see some good chemistry this year."

Urban answered the same question of his return in May, giving a resounding "I would" when asked if he'd like to come back to 'Idol.' The 'Little Bit of Everything' hitmaker shared that he felt especially close to Seacrest and former judge Randy Jackson, which may attribute to the chemistry Seacrest alluded to in his answer.

So, as for whether Keith Urbam will return to 'American Idol' in 2013, the answer is... maybe? Based on the country singer's love for judging and Seacrest's promise that America will love the new panel, it sounds hopeful -- but not definite. America will need to keep on waiting (and hoping) for their next judging panel.
