Jake Owen, wedding singer? It's a big ask and a big responsibility, but the "Beachin'" hitmaker will play the part at his friends Michael Ray and Carly Pearce's upcoming wedding, per Billboard.

At Ray's request, Owen will sing "Made for You" — a new love song from his new album, Greetings From... Jake. He performed the song live for select media at an album preview on March 12 (see video above), also revealing that it was written by Joey Hyde, Benjy Davis and Neil Medley.

Country Music's Sexiest Male Voices Revealed:

Ray first approached Owen about performing the song after a St. Jude event, asking cautiously, "Hey, man, I don't know how to say this. Would you mind playing that song at Carly and I’s wedding?'" Owen recalls.

Of course, Owen instantly said yes, but he realized this means,"I'm a wedding singer now."

The studio version of "Made for You" will be available when Greetings From... Jake drops on March 29. It's not clear when Ray and Pearce — a fellow country hitmaker — will wed, but being asked to perform on their big day means a lot to Owen.

"As funny as that is, it really is a true testament to ... I mean, the fact that I'm going to be singing it at two singers' wedding with a song that honestly means something to them," he says, "This is a powerful song about life and love."

Greetings From... Jake also features the No. 1 single "I Was Jack (You Were Diane)" and the latest single, "Down to the Honkytonk," as well as collaborations with Kid Rock and Lele Pons.
