It's a battle of the superstars as Kenny Chesney challenges Keith Urban in the new Showdown.

Urban just won his third straight contest with his new single, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16," topping Blake Shelton in the end despite very tough voting. Urban's current song is a very clever, up-tempo track that has a lot more lyrical depth than a typical throwaway summer hit, and ToC readers have been responding to it strongly so far.

Chesney's new single from The Big Revival is "Save It for a Rainy Day," and it's an interesting twist on his fun-on-the-water summer songs. You could almost call it a feel-bad summer song, as the narrator's good times on the water are interrupted by heartbreak. Will Chesney's fans turn out to vote, or will Urban move on to yet another Showdown round?

Listen to clips of both Urban and Chesney’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
