Liam Hemsworth Files for Divorce From Miley Cyrus
Any chances of a Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reunion appear to have vanished. The actor has filed for divorce from the actress-turned-pop and (at least once) country singer.
Cyrus and Hemsworth announced they were separating on Aug. 10, just months after getting married in Nashville in December of 2018. A rep told People that, "Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers."
But TMZ says Hemsworth has since filed the divorce paperwork, citing irreconcilable differences. The outlet further reveals the couple had a prenup in place that will keep earnings during their marriage separate.

If history holds true, then this will not be the last chapter in an on again, off again relationship that began while both celebs were teenagers in 2009. They got engaged in 2012, but called it off months later. The romance rekindled in 2015. Both TMZ and People cite insiders who say Hemsworth partying was partially to blame for the breakup. They may have actually split several months ago, but neither party has commented officially on the matter.
Hemsworth did release a statement confirming the separation, also wishing Cyrus well. As news of the breakup became public, Cyrus was on vacation at Lake Como in Italy with Brody Jenner's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter. Cyrus and Carter were spotted kissing by ET on Friday (Aug. 9) at Lake Como.
