Mamadear have just released their first new music since 2017, and the trio are promoting the new songs with a very special acoustic performance of "Lost Cause" that's premiering exclusively with Taste of Country.

The trio of Kelly Bradway, Dan Wilson and Parker Bradway recently debuted "Lost Cause" and "Steal Away." In the exclusive video above, they perform a stripped-down version of "Lost Cause," which emphasizes their songcraft and vocal harmonies.

"Lost Cause" addresses a young love that is not meant to be, but the young lovers are blind to that fact.

“You know that feeling when you’re young and in love and everyone tells you not to go for it but you do anyway? This song is about that," Parker Bradway tells Taste of Country. Bradway wrote "Lost Cause" with Marla Morris and Grant Vogelfanger.

Mamadear formed in 2014 and quickly landed a deal with industry powerhouse CAA. They have since toured with Martina McBride, Brett Eldredge, Cam, Seal, Santana, Chase Bryant, Kristian Bush, Charlie Daniels and Michael Ray. They recently wrapped a European tour during which they opened for John Legend, Sting, the Jacksons and Enrique Iglesias.

"Lost Cause" is available for streaming and download via a variety of digital music retailers.
