Miranda Lambert Allows Adorable Stage Crashers During ‘Automatic’
Most of the time, Miranda Lambert isn't too keen on fans from the audience joining her on stage, and she surely isn't gonna let them come sit on her lap. But if you're eight (ish) and adorable, well then, come on over!
Two girls joined the singer during "Automatic" at the 8th Annual MuttNation Foundation Cause for the Paws in Luckenbach, Texas last weekend. The pair proved they knew the words, so Lambert was happy to sit back and share the mic during her Sept. 19 show.
"OK, I can't even take it," Lambert said at the end of the performance. Then, all three hugged it out.
According to People, Lambert's acoustic set also included "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Gravity's a Bitch." Gwen Sebastian and songwriters Jon Randall, Jessi Alexander and Radney Foster also performed. Later Sebastian joined Lambert on stage. The free show was part of a fundraising event for MuttNation, a group founded by Lambert and her mother Bev.
"Nothing makes Miranda and (me) more happy and fulfilled than seeing a rescue dog in the arms of a loving family," her mother said.
Lambert included pictures on her Instagram page, including this one of Sebastian on stage.
