Miranda Lambert Brings ‘Automatic’ to ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ [VIDEO]
Country fans can thank their lucky stars, because they'll be seeing a lot of talented songstress Miranda Lambert now that her fifth studio album 'Platinum' is out, as of Tuesday. She brought her single 'Automatic' to 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon on Monday (June 2), and like always, she dazzled.
Lambert opted to wear her long locks in loose waves, and wore a shimmery beaded dress that sparkled under the spotlight and had a playful beaded fringe at the bottom. Luminescent earrings completed her look, but the real star of the performance was Lambert's vocals ... and her guitarist's hair.
One of the singer's guitarists sported a mohawk that was almost as tall as Lambert, and provided a hilarious contrast to her glamorous appearance.
The performance didn't have any special effects, but they weren't needed, and would have conflicted with the call to simpler living as detailed in the song's lyrics. Lambert effortlessly sang, not rushing through it, but simply enjoying the moment.
This weekend, Lambert will play Nashville’s LP Field as part of the CMA Music Festival. She's also set to perform 'Somethin' Bad,' a duet with Carrie Underwood, at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday (June 4).
