Miranda Lambert made the CMA live debut of a new song, "Bathroom Sink," at the 2015 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 4).

The song comes from her most recent album, Platinum, which she released in 2014. The album has already spawned hit singles with "Automatic," "Somethin' Bad," "Little Red Wagon" and "Smokin' and Drinkin'."

The song is a rocking track whose lyrics talk about trying to learn to live with and like the person you see in the bathroom mirror: "Puttin' on my makeup / Puttin' off the hard stuff / Hoping that it passes / Fake smile and eyelashes / I wash my hands / And try not to think / Or dirty up my bathroom sink."

The lyrics get even more heartfelt later on: "It's amazing the amount of rejection that I see / In my reflection and I can't get out of the way / I'm lookin' forward to the girl I wanna be / But regret has a way of starin' me right in the face / So I try not to waste too much time at the bathroom sink."

It was an especially interesting choice for Lambert's first CMA Awards performance since announcing her divorce from Blake Shelton a few months ago. He also appeared on the broadcast, and earlier in the day he and his The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani confirmed rumors that they are dating.

Lambert was one of the most-nominated artists in the 2015 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year.
