Miranda Lambert Plays With Puppies in Best Interview Ever [Watch]
Miranda Lambert loves her fans, of course. But the one thing that might edge them out is her love for rescue puppies. A new BuzzFeed interview with the artist combines both, which makes us think that for her, it might be the best interview she’s ever done.
The singer-songwriter sits on the floor playing with three wriggly puppies as she’s asked random fan-sourced questions, and she looks like she’s certainly in her happy place.
“I can’t even deal with this,” she says as one pup licks her face.
Lambert shares a slew of fun facts — her favorite Nashville restaurant, who she’d love to collaborate with and even the worst thing one of her dogs ever chewed up.
“My only Louis Vuitton purse I ever owned was given to me, and it lost its handles pretty quickly,” she says. “I gave up on nice things. My dogs are more important than nice things, I realized.”

How about her favorite mixed drink?
“Tito’s Vodka and LaCroix,” she says confidently.
Though she couldn’t be pushed to choose a favorite song or album that she’s ever recorded, she did say she particularly enjoyed making The Weight of These Wings.
“I really enjoyed the process of this last record…because I took my time on it and spent over a year writing for it and I really got to explore my songwriting in a different way than I ever have before.”
Find out what music people would be surprised to find in her iTunes library and more about the artist in the full interview above.
Lambert held a march in Nashville during CMA Fest 2017 for her MuttNation Foundation, which advocates for the adoption and care of shelter pets. Nearly 1,000 people participated in the march across Nashville’s pedestrian bridge, ending in an adoption drive, puppy corral and a photo booth at the MuttNation mobile unit. Lambert also performed at the Taste of Country Music Festival June 10.
