Miranda Lambert is headed to Las Vegas for her first-ever residency, and she's bringing a few pieces of home with her. The "Strange" singer posted a photo on Sept. 12 with three of her rescue pups — Delta Dawn, Cher, and Bellamy — all loaded up for the trek to Sin City.

"Vegas here we come," she writes, using a dazzling heart emoji and tagging her animal rescue foundation, MuttNation.

The country singer is known for her love of animals, and her Tennessee farm is home to many, so seeing her bring a few of her pet pals with her to Vegas shouldn't come as a surprise. A residency offers up the opportunity to put down some temporary roots — something Lambert is looking forward to.

"I'm excited to be in one spot," she tells E! News. "I've been on a bus since I was 18 years old, so it will be a nice change."

Lambert's husband, Brendan McLoughlin, will also be staying with her in the entertainment capital of the world. In fact, her doting spouse told Entertainment Tonight he won't miss a single show.

"I'll be there every single night," McLoughlin says. "I’ll be watching her do what she does best."

Lambert is currently putting the finishing touches on her Velvet Rodeo: The Las Vegas Residency before launching it on Sept. 23. So far, she has dates scheduled through April of 2023. The show will take up residency at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood.

Being able to do multiple shows in the same venue provides unique opportunities for artists. For instance, there's no travel in between shows, and the stage setup remains the same. This allows the artist to experiment with their production.

"I'm able to do a lot of stuff I've never done on the road before production wise," Lambert shares. "There's a lot of pyro, which I really love, and more rhinestones and more fringe. What's not to love?"

Sounds like she might be reliving her fiery CMA Awards performance from 2005.
