Miranda Lambert Makes Acting Debut in ‘Law and Order: SVU’ Preview
Anticipation continues to build for Miranda Lambert's debut appearance on 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.' The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will guest-star on an all new episode of the show, which airs this coming Wednesday (Feb. 8).
In the episode, Lambert plays an aspiring actress in New York City who is in danger of being assaulted by a reality show producer, played by actor Michael McKean. Also joining Lambert on the episode will be Harry Connick Jr., who will appear as the new love interest of Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay).
In addition to Lambert's acting debut on her favorite TV show, she will also perform at the Super Bowl with her husband Blake Shelton on Feb. 5 before heading to Los Angeles for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards the following weekend, Sunday, Feb. 12. Talk about having a busy week ahead!
The upcoming string of events should help improve Lambert's morale -- the 'White Liar' songress has faced significant bouts of trauma in recent weeks, as she suffered the loss of her father-in-law, a childhood friend, and most recently, her family dog Dixie.
'Law and Order: SVU' will air Wednesday (Feb. 8) at 10:00PM ET on NBC.
