Miranda Lambert Goes Even Shorter With New Haircut

Miranda Lambert has always had long, gorgeous blonde hair -- until recently. After debuting a short, chicer style, the superstar has gone even shorter!

A new week also meant a new 'do for Lambert, who Instagrammed a photo of her lightened, chopped locks on Monday (Aug. 18). The star is seen posing with the woman responsible for the fab new cut and color, and it looks like she opted to remain makeup-less.

Lambert's hair is blonder (ahem ... platinum) with some more length taken off. "Fresh cut! Fresh color! Somethin' bout platinum!" she captioned the image, thanking stylist Amanda Craig with a sweet "love you." Her wavy new style sits at her shoulders, with her sideswept bangs still in tact.

Country fans were quick to respond to the new style, gushing about how much they love it. "Love it! And love you for posting a no makeup pic," one writes. Many commented on the Instagram photo -- which got more than 35,000 'likes' -- calling Lambert's style "cute" and "pretty."

Currently, Lambert is out on her Platinum Tour, but took a few minutes of her offstage time to do something for a good cause. She joined tourmate Thomas Rhett to complete the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, with a little help from Justin Moore.
