Old Dominion Give Cool Vibes With ‘No Hard Feelings’ at 2022 CMT Music Awards
Old Dominion brought some "time, tequila and therapy" to the 2022 CMT Music Awards with a performance of their latest single, "No Hard Feelings," on Monday (April 11).
Taking the stage outdoors at Nashville's Walk of Fame Park, the band dove into the feel-good tune about coming to terms with the end of a relationship. With the picturesque Schermerhorn Symphony Center behind them, lead singer Matthew Ramsey sang the acoustic-driven song while the rest of the band members provided harmony. Ramsey also wielded a hand-held xylophone during the performance. The performance included shots of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the energetic crowd assembled to watch them.

Old Dominion released "No Hard Feelings" as the second single from their Time, Tequila and Therapy album. The full project was released in October of 2021 and also features the hit single, "I Was on a Boat That Day." The group were nominated for Group/Duo Video of the Year at the awards ceremony for their video for "I Was on a Boat That Day," and they were also nominated alongside Caitlyn Smith for the video for their collaboration, "I Can't."
The 2022 CMT Music Awards aired live from Nashville on CBS. This year marked the first time that the awards show has aired on a major network. Kelsea Ballerini, Anthony Mackie and Kane Brown are hosting the show; Brown was a last-minute addition to the hosting lineup. Ballerini received a positive COVID-19 test in the day leading up to the CMTs and had to sit out the show. However, she still fulfilled her co-hosting duties remotely from home.
