Taste of Country’s Rascal Flatts Contest Winner Announced

"Is this for real? I am having a hard time believing I could win such a prize." That was Cecilia Wilson's response when she found out she was the winner of the flyaway contest to see Rascal Flatts in Jacksonville, Fla. on Feb. 9. Yes, Cecilia, it's for real. You're going to Florida!

Wilson's name was chosen out of thousands of entries for the once-in-a-lifetime trip to see Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney sing their hits -- and maybe a few songs from their new album. She and a guest have won airfare to and from Jacksonville, a one-night stay in an area hotel, tickets to the show and a meet and greet with the band.

This will be Wilson's first chance to see her favorite band, as she's never been able to afford tickets when Rascal Flatts played near her hometown of Louisville, Colo. "The words, the smooth voices, the harmony, 'Mayberry!'" she gushed in an email, before describing how she once sang that song to honor her parents.

"I'm not believing it -- have I been skunked?" Nope! Although, Cecilia Wilson probably won't take our word for it until she standing next to the famed 'Easy' trio, getting her picture taken by a friend or member of the Big Machine Records staff.
