Sara Evans says that even though Valentine's Day is a lovers' holiday, she gets the most joy out of watching her seven kids take part in the festivities.

"I like Valentine's Day for the kids," Evans tells Taste of Country. "You know, they take their valentines to school and I like to see what they come home with." As for some alone time with her former football quarterback husband Jay Barker, Evans adds, "We'll probably just go to dinner. We don't really have big, big plans."

The Hallmark holiday has been toned down quite a bit from when the couple first met, the 'A Little Bit Stronger' singer says as she recalls her best V-Day -- the first with Barker. "It was probably the first one that I celebrated with Jay, because he got me all of these clothes, and it was so sweet," Evans says. "I mean, we had only been dating since October and he went out and got me like an Ed Hardy sweatsuit and just really fun, cozy great clothes."

"I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, he's the man of my dreams! He bought me awesome clothes!'" Evans and Barker tied the knot in 2008, and settled into Birmingham, Ala. with their congregation of kids.

The singer, who was brought to fame by her 2000 hit, 'Born to Fly,' is scheduled to play the ACM Concerts at Fremont Street event in Vegas alongside Ronnie Dunn as a kick-off to the 2011 ACMs.
