The Band Perry accepted their first-ever fan-voted ACM award for Top New Vocal Duo or Group on Wednesday night at the ACM 2011 Music City Jam. The win was actually announced last week, but the trio of siblings was on hand and able to pick up their architecturally shaped statuettes in the flesh. The Band Perry certainly looked thrilled to have won, as you can see from their ear-to-ear grins in the photo above.

The award was presented by Luke Bryan, and because of their selection for this honor by the fans, the Band Perry are now in the running for the overall Top New Artist category at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8PM ET on CBS, with a delay for PT.

After the award presentation, host Blake Shelton invited the Perrys back to the stage. They showed why the were voted Top New Vocal Duo or Group with their cover of Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' and their own 'If I Die Young,' which picked up a Grammy nomination this year!

Are you a big fan of the Band Perry? Well, you can continue to vote for them! Go here starting March 11 at noon PT through Sunday, April 3 at 5PM PT to vote for the band as Top New Artist.
