The Band Perry have scored their second chart-topping single this week, as their latest release 'All Your Life' sits pretty at No. 1 on the Billboard country singles chart. Locking in the No. 1 position on the Mediabase / Country Aircheck chart is Chris Young with 'You,' which was Billboard's top song last week.

'All Your Life' is the fourth release from the Band Perry's self-titled debut album on Republic Nashville and the follow-up hit to their previous single 'You Lie,' which peaked at No. 2. Two of the three writers on 'You Lie' (Clara and Brian Henningsen) also penned 'All Your Life.' Like the Band Perry, the Henningsens are also a rising country trio, comprised of a father, Brian, and his son and daughter, Aaron and Clara.

“I wrote ‘All Your Life’ in the early summer of 2008 when I was 18-years-old,” Clara Henningsen recently told Taste of Country. “I sat out on the porch of our old farm house south of Nashville and wrote most of the song. It started out to be just a sweet love song about a girl asking a boy to prove his love. Then I brought dad into it and he added his little twist.”

“We sang ‘All Your Life’ along with ‘You Lie’ live for the Band Perry the first time we met them later that summer,” continued Clara. “Kimberly fell in love with it! We hadn’t even demoed the song at that point. They recorded it and started playing it, and soon after got their record deal. And the rest is history!”

Closing in on No. 1 in the coming weeks is Keith Urban with his red hot hit 'You Gonna Fly' (No. 3 on Billboard, No. 4 on Mediabase), Kenny Chesney with 'Reality' (No. 5 on both charts) and Martina McBride with 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' (No. 8 on Billboard, No. 6 on Mediabase).
