The Voice Season 15 live finals resumed their breakneck pace on Monday (Nov. 26), with the Top 11 singers performing fan-chosen songs for the special "Fan Night." As always, the show contained its share of twists and turns, including some stellar performances of country music.

As loyal viewers of the season know, Team Kelly Clarkson's tiny (and only) country-oriented girl, Chevel Shepherd, is a perfect representation of Shakespeare's famous Midsummer Night's Dream line "Though she be but little, she is fierce." (Proof positive: She may be but 16 years old, and still was able to add a convincing world-weariness to Little Big Town's complicated "Little White Church" last week.)

She was tasked with tackling yet another adult-oriented song, Kacey Musgraves' "Space Cowboy" off of the currently reigning CMA Album of the Year Golden Hour—no small task, to be sure, but Shepherd approached it in black cowboy boots and a calmly assured demeanor which translated to her handling of some difficult notes. Coach Clarkson told her she nailed it.

It's hard to argue, but we'll have to see what happens tomorrow (Nov. 27) when one singer is sent home.
