Here’s a Full Lineup of the 2016 ACM Awards Performers
More 2016 ACM Awards performers have been announced, and in true Las Vegas style, the event will be star-studded.
Cole Swindell is the latest country singer to join the all-star lineup. Miranda Lambert will take the stage with Billy Gibbons and Keith Urban for a performance of ZZ Top's "Tush," and Urban will also sing his new single, "Wasted Time," during the broadcast.
Little Big Town, Blake Shelton, Charles Kelley and Old Dominion, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw are also scheduled performers at the event. In addition, Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton, Cam, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope, Brett Eldredge and Sam Hunt make the lineup for what's set to be an event worth watching.
The 2016 ACM Awards air on April 3 at 8PM ET on CBS.
Former ACM Awards host Shelton seems poised to debut his new single "Came Here to Forget" during the event. McGraw will make the television debut of his single "Humble and Kind," while Young and Pope will likely sing their duet "Think of You." It’s not clear which songs other artists will perform, but FGL’s Tyler Hubbard told Taste of Country his duo will debut a new song at either the ACMs or iHeartRadio Awards in April. Chesney is another artist who could play new music, as he does not currently have an active single. After the awards show ends, the superstar will close out the ACM Party for a Cause Festival happening near the venue.
Underwood's performance will mark a return to the ACM stage for the "Heartbeat" singer. She hasn't performed during the broadcast since 2013, and missed the show completely in 2015 as she spent time with newly-born baby Isaiah. This year she's nominated in just one category, Female Vocalist of the Year.
Bentley and Bryan will host the 2016 ACM Awards, which will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas once again after a year in Texas. Chris Stapleton leads all nominees with seven, while Cam and Church have six each. Church, Bryan, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks and Miranda Lambert are all nominated for the Entertainer of the Year award.
